Why is this Website so Plain?

This website is about investing. Glitz and glamour should not come into play when making investment decisions. If you find yourself needing to purchase or sell a single company at any price than you may be better off investing in index funds. A company with a great story does not necessarily make a great investment. It is necessary to look at the raw numbers. It's about reading and understanding income, balance and cash flow sheets. This same principle can be applied to a mutual fund's prospectus. A glossy well written prospectus does not mean anything. The fees and methodology are the important content. I'm keeping this website plain and simple to make a point. Just as I hope you look into the underlying financial skeleton of your investments; I hope you can appeciate this website for its content.
